with Milena.
Join us at Kulturraum ERLE 6 in Dresden.

What does it mean
to choose humanity?
Milena Jesenská’s life and writing set a conversation in motion. Jana and Jule question their subject — and themselves. They perform, tell stories, disagree and push one another, while trying to understand what connects them.
Letters, texts and choices become a meeting point between Milena’s world and our own. How much of us is shaped by culture? What can we choose? Where does our responsibility begin?
The performance invites its audience into a shared space of questions, contradictions and the search for common ground.
Performed in Czech and German. Understanding either language is enough.
